Areas of Responsibility
The duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Assist customers to be successful with  terminals and software development platform
  • Lead support team by introducing training, taking escalated calls, and work on continual improvement
  • Generate and distribute example code, test programs and tutorials to support hardware sales
  • Provide billable services by developing custom modules and providing training
  • Conduct team reviews, weekly management meetings, and quarterly company training
  • Administrate web forums and use them to create an energetic user community
Preferred Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a technical discipline
  • High level language programming experience C++, C# or Java preferred
  • Customer service or technical support experience
  • Windows troubleshooting and hardware driver installation experience.
  • Electronic hardware understanding and software development process experience.
  • Familiarity with the following:
    • Automation/PLC Programming, OPC, Profibus, and CAN
    • Networking (Ethernet, UDP, WIFI, TCP/IP)
    • Embedded software, WinCE OS
    • Visual Studio
